With the Gear purchase (Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Gear Fit2 or Gear Fit2 Pro) comes a year of free Premium for all of Under Armour's Connected Fitness applications (Endomondo, Myfitnesspal and Mapmyfitness).

Once you've connected the two devices and you're logged in on the watch your Endomondo account will be automatically upgraded to Premium.

Workouts not syncing from Gear device to account history.
In the event that your completed Gear workout did nor sync to your history, please make sure that the Gear device is connected directly to an WiFi network as this can be what is causing the issue
(ie. it is not enough that the device is connected via Bluetooth to the phone, please make sure that under Settings on your Gear smartwatch - Connections - WiFi that you're connected directly to the WiFi network of your choice.)

Gear workouts distance is incorrect.
In the event that your Gear workout summary displays the incorrect distance, please note that the Gear devices come with an built in accelerometer. If the GPS signal is cut or unavailable then the built in accelerometer will kick in.
As the Endomondo application uses GPS coordinates to measure distance these may sometimes appear as the workout is missing distance, if you however look at the graph on the website you can see that the entire distance is included. Should this happen, you can use the edit functionality to set the correct distance to the workout summary. To edit an workout, please see here.
Gear Application is not connecting to GPS.
In the event that the Endomondo application on your Gear device appears to have no GPS connection, please make sure that the GPS is active on the watch.
To do this go to Settings on the Gear smart watch and select 'Connections - Location and make sure that it is turned on'

Gear built in heart rate monitor not working.
First of all, please verify that the heart rate monitor on your watch is working with other applications on your device ie. Samsung Health to rule out that there is no issue with the device itself.
If the Heart Rate monitor works for other applications, please try the following:
-Uninstall the app on both devices
-Reboot the phone and the watch
-Reinstall the app on both devices
-Reboot the devices again again.

Training Plans, Interval Training, External heart rate monitors, mirroring devices.
At the moment the Endomondo application for Gear devices does not support Training Plans, Interval Workouts, Connecting an external HR monitor, using the watch as an external HR monitor for the phone application nor mirroring the application on the phone with the one on the watch.
We may consider such functionality in the future.
