In the Endomondo app (iOS and Android) you can compete against yourself and get feedback on your way to beat your personal best on your favorite training route. With the Beat Yourself feature you can go against any of your previous workouts.
How to use the Beat Yourself feature:
- Go to the main tracker screen and click the Gear icon in the top right corner.
- Select 'Workout Type'
- Select "Beat Yourself" - Go against a previous workout
- Choose the workout from your workout history you want to go against and click "Done"
- Start the workout from the main tracker screen
Please note that the Beat Yourself feature is only available in the apps, not on the website.
Please also note that the route from your previous workout route will not be marked on the map if you select to use the map view workout screen and that the app will not automatically stop the workout when you have reached your goal, so you'll have to manually stop the workout the same way as you normally do when you have finished a workout.
Audio coach feedback for Beat Yourself:
During the workout, you can receive audio coach feedback on whether you are ahead or behind the pace of the workout you are competing against.
Turn on the "Goal" selections in the Audio Settings to get the feedback. In addition to the feedback on Goals, you can of course also use all the other audio coach feedback options for your workout.
