We’ve made it easy to connect the Endomondo Sports Tracker to the Health app: all you have to do is go to the Connect and Share setting, and press Connect with Health.
After you connect your Endomondo account with the Health app, your calories burned and workout distance for all future workouts tracked with the app will be saved automatically to the Health app. You can specify what data to save to Health by giving permission to export (when you finish your first workout after setting up the connection, you'll see the screen below):
- Active Energy
- Cycling distance (cycling transport, sport, mountain biking, indoor cycling)
- Walking distance (fitness walking, treadmill walking) + Running distance (treadmill running, orienteering).
Please note that you won't be able to select which data to share with "Health" until after you have tracked your first workout and that Endomondo will not appear under Apps in Apple Health until after you have tracked your first workout.
Endomondo will be listed as source for the data, and you can edit the permissions anytime in your Health app.
You will be able to see all your data by going to the "Health Data" at the bottom of the Health app. To make the data show in your dashboard, select a specific statistic (e.g. "Active Calories") and activate the slider "Show on Dashboard".
In case your Health Data are no longer sharing from Endomondo to Health, please go to Endomondo -> Settings -> Connect & Share -> Health and make sure the connection is active (the connection is active, when the green box says (Disconnect from Health).
