I'm about to have to download a different app to track my morning run tomorrow, and I'd really prefer to not have to do that.

ios9 on iphone 6 plus in India. upgraded to version 10.4.3.
It was working till saturday but then suddenly stopped working today. Now when I start the app I just get the cover splash screen and then it goes back to home screen of iphone.
I had installed sync solver to sync data from my fitbit and that I think could be a reason. Also deleted the app along with health data and then reinstalled endomondo. Still crashing.

ios9 iphone 6 in the US, english, verizon and wireless connection I normally have bluetooth on but have tried turning it off as well and app still crashes. On latest app version 10.4.3. App just opens to black screen for a couple seconds then reverts back to apple home screen.

I MANAGED TO FIX this on my iPhone 6 with iOS 9.

I upgraded to iOS9 on 17th September, and still used Endomondo on 18th twice. I tried again on 21st, but then it crashed. It got really weird, in some settings menu - e.g.: in settings/notifications - Endomondo did not appear (as if it wasn't installed). Then I deleted the app, but after reinstalling the problem remained. The notification badge was there on the app icon, although it was newly installed. It seemed, that the deletion was not complete.

And here is how I HAVE FIXED IT:
    1) I made a backup of the iPhone using iTunes on my computer. I also made a backup in iCloud to be safe, but the PC backup will be needed.
    2) I used iBackupBot (http://www.icopybot.com/itunes-backup-manager.htm) to remove all Endomondo related data from the backup. I searched in every folder and deleted everything containing the string "endomondo".
    3) I restored my iPhone using iTunes from the modified backup.
    4) I deleted and reinstalled Endomondo from the AppStore, and then in worked.

Neither the 10.5.0 or updating to iOS 9.0.1 solved the crash problem. The app runs apparently in the background, but when I try to get it in front, it simply stops and returns to the home screen. iP 5s.

So Endomondo contacted me and asked me to update my iOS to 9.0.1 to fix THEIR app issue. The funny thing is that I had already done that and the app still quits when you hit 1 mile. This has become so utterly useless. Who only runs 1 mile?

GOOD THOUGHTS TO SHARE by Cowboy Nelson wrote:
Shin Ueno...I've been running with the Nike Running iOS App the past 3 days and it's worked fine. I have listened to multiple audio sources and it doesn't have issues with giving me pace/time/distance updates while I'm running.

I'm bummed to lose my consolidated (running/biking/etc) workout storage on endomondo, but I can't wait any longer for them to get their act togther. They had months for iOS 9 development and obviously didn't take it.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUGGESTION. I GOING TO TRY NIKE RUNNING!!

    Cheers and Keep Running

When I deleted the app, updated with the latest iOS, and reloaded the latest app, it all works fine. Tested with audio on and a three mile mt bike ride.

Roger Mann...most of us who have been commenting since iOS 9 first released have all done those steps. You seem to be extremely lucky. Sure wish endomondo would fix it for the rest of us.

I have an Iphone 4 and have today installed 10.5.0 and the audio feedback doesn`t work at all. After that I have deleted the app and reinstalled the app again. Did not work !!!

iPhone 6 running iOS 9.0.1 - app wouldn't start. Fixed through uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Crashed on Friday at 1 mile and today at 1 mile. I will be switching back to Runkeeper. I can't afford for a crash to happen during a race.

Since the last upgrade my app loads OK, doesn't crash, but the distance, speed & calories go crazy. Today I rode a bike - 40 km, it showed 230km, average speed 78km/h and max speed 852808km/h.
A little exagerrated, don't you think?

Reinstalling the app (iOS 9.0.1 + app 10.5.0). Solved the problem for me.

Those of you who still has some problems with the app after iOS 9 I suggest to delete the app from your phone and then install again. Reinstall :DD
