Garmin has joined the data collection band wagon. The "unsupported" plug in doesn't need support anymore. It runs fine! It doesn't collect personal data, or plant tracking cookies, or anything else that compromises security. Please do not jump on the band wagon.

Then how do I get my training into my page? Garmin forerunner 110

    Hi Peter,

Please pair your Garmin Connect account with your Endomondo profile to upload your workouts to endomondo.com. More info here: https://support.endomondo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203483026-Uploading-workouts-to-Endomondo-from-a-Garmin-device#Automatic%20upload%20via%20Garmin%20Express

You can also connect your Garmin FR110 via the USB data transfer/charging cable and import the workouts via the Import from file option. https://support.endomondo.com/hc/en-us/articles/201861443-File-Import-Export#File%20import

    Cheers,

Yeah, this sucks. The plugin worked splendid thank you very much, but Garmin thinks of their users as cash cows and offers support that is beyond crappy. Sure, shove the horrible new Garmin Connect through users' throats, god forbid they could manager their own data the way they prefer.....

You did not notified users timely that the option “import from garmin” would disappear.
Now it’s not possible to import data dated before 10 august.

Well, I think I will cancel my Premium subscription now. Garmin Connect is NOT working, so it's not an option to connect the two accounts. It is completely irrelevant that Garmin has stopped supporting the Garmin Communicator Plugin, as long as it's working there's no reason for Endomondo to remove it.

Hi. The page shows it is connected, but no workout have uploaded to Endomondo. What should i try next? In Garmin i see my workouts but not in Endomondo.

One of the reasons i use endomondo instead of other application was by the garmin communication plugin. If it's no available i will think in pay in another place

Endomondo using the old Garmin Connect Plugin actually imported the correct elevation data that was displayed on my device, which is something I have never been able to do on the Garmin Connect page.

Guess we'll see how this goes

Oh for fs sake. Why have Endomondo done this???? Uploading via USB was so simple. I have been using Endomondo for about 3 or 4 years and loved the simplicity of it....... WHY WHY WHY have they done this??????????

For info, I have two Garmin 205s...... They may be bulky and a little old now, but I love them for their simplicity.......

This is really a bad development as the Garmin Connector doesn't Work.
Using the old plugin was so simple, now you are forcing me into using another software that I didn't want - I am really dissapointed.

I can't believe Endomondo has done this. I have spent an entire evening installing Garmin Connect and trying to upload files.... the result is I have lost 2 weeks of training. Thanks Endomondo. Absolute genius. Why didn't you just leave the Garmin Plug In as it was?? It doesn't matter that it was not supported - it still worked!!

Think I will switch to Strava.

Okay, me again! So I have now sync'd with Connect. Why are the workouts not appearing on my training page??? They appear on my Connect page and Endomodo states I am connected to Garmin Connect......

    Loving this.

I think the trick is that you have to connect Garmin and Endomondo before you load your data into Garmin Connect. If you have loaded your data into Garmin Connect and then connected to Endomondo you won't get the data transferred.
If you have done this already, you need to clear the ANT history on your computer, and then re-load the data into Garmin Connect.
Take a backup of your history-files on your computer before your clear the history, these files are of the type .tcx, you can manually load these into Endomondo using the Import file functionality when pressing "Add Workout".
You can read more about the location of the history files here:
    https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?1292-Does-the-ANT-agent-store-copies-of-my-activities-locally-Where-are-they

It's a mess, but it's possible to load your old workouts if you have the .tcx files.
After you have connected Garmin Connect and Endomondo any new workouts will transfer smoothly as far as I can see.

Thanks for nothing. This is a very unpleasant surprise for me. I connected with Garmin but nothing is automatically synced with Endo. Now I have to figure it all out again. Great support guys.

Like everybody else is telling….. get back with the usb communicator for login and putting data on Endomondo. If you don't I think a lot of people stop using endomondo.
My garmin does NOT link or transfer my data to my endomondo when I was that stupid to say yes to let them run toghether. It does not work for a lot of people.
I have to stop using endomondo, which I really really really unlike, because I Loved endomondo, but it doesnt work for me anymore….
And like other sportiv people i hate it i cannot put my data on the endomondo site to see how I did, or how my runs with others which i trained did.

Please listen to other people and bring back the usb garming to endomondo back on the page….

    I'm having the same problems...

Tried importing via Garmin Express, but that didn't work for my old trusty Forerunner 205.. I found an upload function that can get the data from my watch to the Garmin page, but it's not syncing with Endomondo...

The old way worked fine.. I don't care about Garmin support, I just want my simple to use interface that works...

Please bring back the old option...

I'm afraid I will have to stop using Endomondo if you do not bring back this functionality. Connection between Garmin Connect and Endomondo does not work. The same with Tapiriik. I think Endomondo has taken huge step backwords.

Very bad decision. Endomondo now offers very little to me.

Please clarify why I should remain using your application rather than just track all my activities in Garmin Connect.

I have been trying to upload via Garmin Express for hours now. I have it linked, but it don't work....
I say again Endomondo, why have you done this?? You have peeved off a great deal of your users. Endomondo now seems absolutely useless to me now.

No, I think the trick would be re-instate the plug-in..... We don't care that it is unsupported. It worked a treat.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put the plug-in back on the website - at least just for a short while so we can all get up to date with our workouts....

@Andy Whitehead, I was just as desperate at you, but I got it to work with the .tcx file from the ANT history directory. I don't think Endomondo will re-instate the plug-in, they are cold as ice, as you can see on the lack of response to this thread.
I've cancelled my Premium account yesterday, also stating why I did it, but I haven't heard anything.
I'm just trying to help, and as I wrote in the answer from yesterday I made the mistake of uploading data to Garmin Connect before connecting Garmin and Endomondo, big mistake!

Søren, my apologies, I thought you were Endomondo support. I didn't mean to sound rude. I will continue to persevere..... Although I tried to re-sync with a new workout today and it didn't work..... I need to find out where the ANT history is... I am now on Windows 10, and I can't find it at all.
