Add new Sports
We are continually evaluating our list of sports and weighing between keeping the list manageable and have all of your wishes in the list. You can add your sport as a feature request here.
Please make sure that nobody else has added it before you by searching for it first if somebody else have added your sport as a request already, just vote it up!
Until it's added, you might be able to use our tagging function, which you can read more about here.
Please also note that we are not allowed to add certain sports such as CrossFit™, Zumba™, Spinning™ and TRX™ due to trademark rights. We suggest using e.g. "Circuit Training", "Aerobics"/"Dance" and "Indoor Cycling"
The difference between Cycling (Sport), Cycling (Transport) and Mountain Biking
- Cycling, Sport is intended for those that will cycle at a consistently high-speed (avg > 25 km/h) with little interruption. This could be used for either training for an event, a cycling race or other similar events.
- Cycling, Transport is ideal for when you're moving around the city at the mercy of traffic signals, other road users and similar stoppages. You'll be travelling at significantly less speed (avg 14,4km/h) and most likely be stopping fairly regularly.
- Mountain Biking encompasses a variety of off-road riding styles. Mountain Biking routes usually require speed, balance and cornering adjustments that exercise your upper body and burn more calories than the other cycling disciplines.
