The ‘Hydration’ feature is available on Android, iPhone and the website.
The hydration feature shows how much fluid intake is needed during and after a workout, to compensate for the sweat lost.
The formula used to calculate the amount of fluid intake needed, in liters, includes these variables:
- Workout intensity
- Workout duration
- Temperature during workout (provided by our weather data partner)
- User weight
The value for intensity is based on MET values and will give us a base value for sweat loss in liters per hour.
Make sure the data connection is ON so information regarding the temperature can be accessed. In case this information is unavailable, a default value of 15°C will be used.
Below you can see a screenshot displaying a workout summary from Android.
Please note that hydration will only be shown for workouts tracked with the app (Android & iPhone). Hydration will not be shown for imported workouts and for workouts synced from third party sources (e.g Garmin Connect).
